Module OEM-Flow A

The measurement of breathing gas flow is one of the most important functions in the modern respiration. The hot-wire anemometry is a well-established method for dynamic flow measurement with good resolution even in low flow applications.

The OEM-Flow A module provides all necessary functions to realize an effective flow measurement with low complexity. It works together with a hot-wire flow sensor and generates measuring values which can be used to calculate the actual gas flow. The data is supplied using a digital interface. Flow sensors as the SpiroQuant A and A+ from EnviteC-Wismar GmbH can be used.

The module is characterized by its small dimensions. It supplies additional features like auto-zero function and status check of supply voltage. The user will also be informed about malfunction of the flow sensor actually in use.
